JUPITER, Florida (March 20, 2022) – Jupiter Medical Center Foundation hosted its annual Leaders in Philanthropy Dinner presented by Northern Trust at the Norton Museum of Art. The March 1 event honored the Foundation’s top donors whose philanthropic contributions have allowed Jupiter Medical Center to expand programs and add world class physicians to meet the needs of the expanding community.
Jupiter Medical Center Foundation has raised more than $296 million toward a $300 million campaign. “Thanks to your generosity, we are continuing our evolution as a world-class, regional medical center. The impact of such tremendous philanthropy is evidenced by the programs, physicians, technology, and buildings that are changing lives,” said Michael Morsberger, president of Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. “I am very proud of what we are building for this community and what we have achieved in such a short period of time” added Dr. Amit Rastogi, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center.
Peter Lund, Chairman of Jupiter Medical Center Foundation’s Board of Trustees recognized Northern Trust for their support. “We truly appreciate the long-standing relationship we have with Northern Trust Bank. They have been an excellent steward of the hospital’s assets and we are so thankful for their unwavering support.”
Honorees of the evening included Suzanne L. Niedland and Lawrence F. De George of the Lawrence J. and Florence A. De George Charitable Trust who were acknowledged as Patrons for their gracious gifts to the hospital. Elizabeth and Michael Ruane and The Sandy Hill Foundation were honored as Distinguished Grand Benefactors, while Rita and Burt Tansky were honored as Grand Benefactors. The following Benefactors were also honored: Katherine L. and Steven C. Pinard, William C. Mattison. Jr. and Margaret and the late Richard J. Katz, Jr. as well as hundreds of other generous supporters.
