Jupiter Medical Center Reception Spotlights Heart Disease and Stroke Programs

JUPITER, Fla. (March 19, 2020) – Jupiter Medical Center hosted a private reception to spotlight its new heart disease and stroke programs on Monday, March 2 at Jonathan’s Landing.

Guests heard from Dr. Arthur Katz, medical director of cardiac surgery, who led a discussion on what patients can expect from the new cardiac surgery program, and how to better identify signs and symptoms of a heart attack. Guests also learned critical information on the signs and symptoms of a stroke and how they differ between men and women from Dr. Juan Gomez, director of neurointerventional radiology. The presentation was moderated by Dr. Amit Rastogi, president and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center.

The recently launched cardiac surgery program will significantly increase the types of heart disease cases that the hospital can treat.
