As the only independent, not-for-profit hospital in the region, we depend on the vision and generosity of our donors to elevate the standard of care and ensure our clinicians remain at the forefront of modern medicine. Their investment empowers our physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to continually grow, refine their skills, and bring the most advanced, evidence-based care to our community.
Ongoing education is essential in a rapidly evolving health care landscape. Philanthropic support strengthens the foundation on which our teams excel, providing access to innovative training, leading-edge tools, and expanded learning environments that prepare clinicians for the complexities of today’s medicine. Together, we are cultivating a culture of lifelong learning that directly enhances patient safety, outcomes, and experience.

Forward-thinking gifts from Alta and Peter Hamilton, The Booth Foundation, and The Uihelein Family are helping to bring Jupiter Medical Center’s new Center for Clinical Simulation to life within the Patient Care Tower. This cutting-edge training hub offers an immersive, hands-on environment where nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals can practice, refine, and master their skills across multiple specialties.
Designed to mirror real-world clinical scenarios, the Center includes three high-fidelity simulation suites and a dedicated 30-person classroom. Here, care teams engage in advanced training in nursing, emergency medicine, surgery, anesthesia, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and more. Through the use of lifelike mannequins, known as simulators, clinicians sharpen their decision-making, technical proficiency, communication, and teamwork in a safe, supportive setting.
Each simulation suite has hospital-grade equipment, including beds, monitors, defibrillators, medication preparation areas, and integrated recording systems that allow instructors to observe and debrief in real time. As health care grows more complex and the need for robust clinical experience intensifies, this level of training is indispensable.

A transformational philanthropic gift established the Leonard A. Lauder Endowed Scholarship Program, providing up to 25 clinical team members with scholarships of up to $10,000 annually to support the pursuit of advanced degrees. Eligible participants include nurses and professionals across rehabilitation, imaging, respiratory therapy, cardiology and stroke care, clinical nutrition, laboratory services, radiologic technology, social work, and pharmacy.
A strong, highly skilled clinical team is the foundation of a world-class center of care. At Jupiter Medical Center, identifying exceptional clinicians and investing in a supportive work environment, one that prioritizes professional growth and lifelong learning, is among our highest priorities. Thanks to generous philanthropic support, we are able to invest in our most valuable asset: the dedicated care team members who deliver exceptional care to our community every day.

With the generous support of the Chleck Family Foundation, our Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Education Program empowers therapists to pursue advanced certifications and specialized training. These enhanced credentials strengthen care across key service areas, including Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Orthopedics, Stroke and Neurology, Cancer Care, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
This philanthropic investment directly elevates the quality of care we provide, ensuring that patients who travel from near and far receive exceptional, evidence-based rehabilitation and physical therapy services delivered by highly trained specialists.

Don McCree and his late wife, Patsy, made a deeply meaningful philanthropic gift to expand the Nursing Excellence Fund, an investment that directly strengthens our nurses. Their generosity ensures our care teams feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow in their profession.
Because of the McCrees’ compassion and forethought, Jupiter Medical Center is better able to attract and retain exceptional nursing talent, provide opportunities for professional development, and recognize the dedication of nurses who go above and beyond for their patients every day. This support fosters a stable, highly skilled nursing workforce—one that translates to greater continuity of care, improved communication, and a more compassionate, reassuring experience for patients and their families.
