A transformative expansion of the Petrocelli Emergency Center, made possible through philanthropic support, opened in January 2023. With 11 additional patient rooms, eight Fast Track bays for rapid treatment of non-life-threatening conditions, and innovative processes supported by advanced technology, this expansion enhances patient flow, improves outcomes, and significantly reduces wait times for patients and families.

In 2019, a generous gift established the Mastroianni Family Pediatric Emergency Department. This 6,300-square-foot, child-friendly unit provides eight pediatric treatment rooms, dedicated family waiting areas, pediatric triage rooms designed to reduce wait times, and indoor play spaces that alleviate anxiety during emergencies.
