Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I give?

Your gift represents the spirit of generosity and makes a profound impact on your team members and our community. Every gift counts and beautifully reflects our shared mission and values.

Why are donations from employees important?

Donating through our employee giving program demonstrates your belief in Jupiter Medical Center’s mission and your dedication to helping others beyond your daily work. As a non-profit organization, our hospital relies on donations to fund programs beyond our budget. When employees give, it sends a meaningful message to the community: it shows you are proud of the exceptional health care we provide daily.

Where does my gift go?

You may designate your gift to any existing fund at Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. The priority fund for this year is the ACE Team Member Crisis Fund, which provides support to team members facing a crisis or financial hardship. However, you may designate your gift to any Jupiter Medical Center fund you are passionate about.

What benefits do I receive?

The greatest benefit is knowing that your generosity and commitment to Jupiter Medical Center significantly impact the future of patients, families, and fellow team members. 100% of your gift will go directly to supporting the fund you choose. To see more prizes and incentives, click here.

What is the Power of $5 Club?

The Power of $5 Club includes all employees who commit to giving $5 per paycheck for the year.

Am I required to give a gift?

No, you are not required to donate. Participation is voluntary, and we are grateful for every gift and commitment we receive.

How much should I give, and is my contribution tax-deductible?

Your gift should be of a size that is meaningful to you. Even the smallest gifts have a significant impact. Simply participating means a great deal to the Foundation. If you itemize deductions on your tax return, contributions may be deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Once I submit an online donation form, what happens?

After you submit your donation, Jupiter Medical Center Foundation will process your gift.

Can I make a payroll deduction?

Yes, another way to donate is by submitting your Employee Donation Payroll Deduction Authorization Form. Jupiter Medical Center Foundation will collaborate with Payroll and Finance to process your request for payroll deduction. Your deduction will typically begin the next paycheck after we receive your completed form.

Once the deduction begins, we will direct your gift to the program or service you have selected.

If I sign up for payroll deduction, do I need to renew each year?

If you make a one-time payroll deduction gift, you will need to initiate a donation each year.

If you sign up for a recurring payroll deduction, your gift will automatically renew.
