COVID-19 RELIEF FUND

At Jupiter Medical Center, we are compassionately and effectively treating patients testing positive for COVID-19. Through our efforts and the generosity of our donors, we were able to obtain the necessary supplies and equipment to safely treat patients affected by the initial outbreak. Jupiter Medical Center has also been participating in drug and treatment trials to aggressively treat COVID-19. Our ongoing $300 million Vision. Innovation. Impact. Campaign continues to fund our expansive growth and ensures our leadership position in treatments, technology and patient safety. Thanks to your generosity to date, we have raised $210 million toward our total campaign goal. However, due to the unforeseen expenses and losses we have experienced as a result of COVID-19, we have incorporated a newly created COVID-19 Relief Fund as part of our existing campaign.

YOUR SUPPORT IS ESSENTIAL

The COVID-19 pandemic has created financial challenges for hospitals nationwide and the negative consequences are piling up. Our front-line health care workers have been working tirelessly to fight this deadly new contagion that is unpredictable and demanding.

Unfortunately, due to the ever-evolving nature of COVID-19, more and more waves of patients testing positive with COVID-19 are expected for at least another year until effective FDA treatments are approved and a vaccine is developed. We are making tremendous strides, but a return to a new normal could take a year or more.

While we are practicing social distancing, we need to come together as a community.

As a not-for-profit community resource, Jupiter Medical Center reinvests the proceeds of the revenue-generating service lines – elective procedures and surgeries – that were halted during COVID-19. The medical center reallocates the revenue, not to stakeholders, but through our system of care to provide important clinical programs and initiatives. Our revenue is reinvested in our community.
