Nicholas Mastroianni II and his sons, Nicholas Mastroianni III and Anthony
made a $3 million gift from their family Foundation to establish Jupiter
Medical Center’s much-needed Pediatric Emergency Department. The
6,300-square-foot Mastroianni Family Pediatric Emergency Department is
located next to the hospital’s emergency room and offers services
in a child-friendly environment. The unit features eight pediatric treatment
rooms, a dedicated family waiting area, pediatric triage rooms to reduce
wait times, and indoor play areas to alleviate anxiety. Along with these
amenities, there is always a pediatrician on-site, and patients have access
to a team of pediatric-trained doctors and nurses equipped to diagnose
and treat a wide range of medical problems.
