12th Annual Highballs & Hibiscus Raises Funds for Women's and Children's Services

JUPITER, Florida – It’s official – the social season has started with Jupiter Medical Center Foundation's sold-out Highballs & Hibiscus event. The 12th annual fundraiser, held for the second consecutive year at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, is known as a festive and fun celebration of philanthropy.

The event was chaired by Jessica and Nicholas Mastroianni III, along with honorary chairs Aliya and Justin Howard. Jay Cashmere, WPTV anchor, served as master of ceremonies, where he and key supporters, including Brad Faxon, led the crowd through an exciting live auction. Funds were earmarked to support Jupiter Medical Center’s award-winning Women’s and Children’s services.

“The support of our community is integral to our success,” said Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. “Our current focus of growing our depth and breadth of services, developing new strategic partnerships and expanding our geographic footprint – all while maintaining a focus on quality, safety and patient experience – has been made possible due to generations of supporters.”

Jupiter Medical Center, the region’s only independent not-for-profit hospital, is leading the way in pediatrics by providing the most exceptional care through its full suite of pediatric services. Jupiter Medical Center provides the most advanced diagnostic technologies and medical equipment designed specifically for small patients. Its pediatric services include inpatient care at the De George Pediatric Unit, emergency care at the Mastroianni Family Pediatric Emergency Department, inpatient and outpatient therapy, imaging services, surgical services and more. In addition, the hospital can care for the youngest of patients in the Level II De George Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Jupiter Medical Center also continues to offer the very best in women’s health, including maternity care, breast health, breast oncology, gynecologic oncology, pelvic floor rehabilitation and more. Notably, the Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center is considered one of the best in the region.

“As we look ahead to the future, we know it is made brighter because of our supporters,” said Traci Simonsen, Chief Philanthropy Officer of Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. “Highballs & Hibiscus is a fun event, but more importantly, the funds raised support the very best in patient care for local women and children. We are grateful to the community for their unwavering support of our mission to provide the very best in patient care.”

The host committee was comprised of Lindsey and Garry Berger, Jaime Brown, Laurie Canzio, Jen and Dimitri Chimerakis, Nika Ciarfella, Dr. Jeanmarie Connor, Conner Kempe, Melissa and Bill Lazarchick, Gina and Tracy Masilotti, Chryssi Mikus, Erin Nicoloso, Mark Parthemer and Tess Sina.
