Jupiter Medical Center Celebrates Public Launch of "Generational Health" Campaign

Historic $500 million fundraising campaign to transform the future of care for all patients

Jupiter, FL – March 2, 2026 – Jupiter Medical Center announced a major milestone in Generational Health, its landmark $500 million philanthropic campaign to shape the next era of healthcare in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. Fueled by extraordinary donor support, the campaign has already surpassed the halfway mark, with $258 million raised to date, making it the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the hospital's history.

Generational Health is rooted in a simple but powerful promise: deliver the right care, at the right time, for every moment that matters, not only for today’s patients, but for those who will depend on Jupiter Medical Center decades from now.

"We are constantly challenging ourselves to take patient care to the next level,” said Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. “Our growth is about more than increasing capacity; it is about redefining health care excellence. This campaign accelerates investments in advanced technologies, expanded services, and next-generation facilities that will define the future of medicine in our region. Every investment in Generational Health moves us closer to a future where outstanding care is always within reach."

During the campaign's quiet phase, Jupiter Medical Center Foundation secured several transformative gifts that accelerated the hospital's growth and helped build momentum toward its historic fundraising goal. This included the largest gift in the hospital’s history, $35 million from Tim and Jayne Donahue in support of the new 92-bed Patient Care Tower. Additional investments included $10 million from Hugh, Nancy, and Chad Elliott to expand the electrophysiology lab and Heart and Vascular Institute; and $25 million from Johnny and Terry Gray to advance the Surgical Institute. Together, these early investments catalyzed the campaign's progress and scale.

These gifts, along with many others, have enabled Jupiter Medical Center to expand clinical programs, recruit world-class physicians and nurses, and invest in advanced technology, including the Da Vinci 5 Surgical Robot. Philanthropic support has also driven the launch of a urology program, the development of an oncology-focused palliative care program, and the expansion of neurological, orthopedic, cardiovascular, and outpatient imaging services. Although gifts to the campaign have been accelerated by extraordinary principal gifts, every gift matters in building a healthier future. Together, these investments are strengthening the hospital’s capacity to deliver highly specialized care to a growing region.

The Foundation hosted a special campaign unveiling at its recent Leaders in Philanthropy Dinner, featuring a surprise drone show illuminating the night sky near the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse, a symbolic preview of the bold vision driving Jupiter Medical Center’s next era of growth.

"We are grateful to our supporters from Port St. Lucie to Boca Raton who believe in our mission," said Traci Simonsen, Chief Philanthropy Officer of the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, while speaking at the event. "Since quietly launching our campaign three years ago, we have raised $258 million, including gifts from 6,000 donors, 30 percent of whom are new supporters. This momentum confirms that our community understands the urgency of this moment and shares our vision for the future. We remain grateful for their commitment to our shared vision and enthusiastic about what the future holds."

Simonsen underscored that the Generational Health campaign’s size and scope are a testament to both the hospital's growth trajectory and the region’s increasing demand for high-quality care.

Donations to the campaign will strengthen and expand the hospital's cornerstone programs, including cancer care, cardiovascular services, orthopedics, neurosciences, and women's initiatives, through the recruitment of top-tier health care professionals, the adoption of state-of-the-art technology, strengthened clinical capabilities, and an enhanced patient experience from diagnosis through recovery.
