JUPITER, Fla. (November 21, 2019) – Dozens of supporters and players attended a cocktail reception
on Saturday, November 9 to kick off the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation
41st Annual Charity Golf Classic.
The reception was held at Old Marsh Golf Club, and was graciously underwritten
by a select group of Old Marsh members. Brad Faxon, an eight-time PGA
Tour winner, served as Tournament Chair, and award-winning golf course
designer, Tom Fazio, served as Honorary Chair of the tournament.
The tournament took place on Monday, November 11 at the prestigious McArthur
Golf Club and Old Palm Golf Club. Tournament sponsors included Black Diamond
General Contracting, Doug and Peggy Briggs, Leah and Ed Frankel Foundation,
Roberta and Harvey Golub, Carolyn and Steve Haggerty, Knight Corporations,
Sandridge Food Corporation, and David and Colleen Waters. Tournament participants
included professional players, coaches and event sponsors, as well as
players from the local community.
In the past 41 years, this event has raised more than $5 million, with
proceeds from this year benefiting the future, state-of-the-art Surgical
Institute at Jupiter Medical Center.
